Maha Pushkaraalu, once in 144 years occasion is officially launched today morning in the dual Telugu states.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, along with his family members, took a dip in the holy river at 6.26 am in the temple town of Dharmapuri in Karimnagar district and thus officially launched the first Pushkaraalu in the state. KCR was accompanied by the Cabinet Ministers, MPs, legislators and other VIPS and also the Jagadgurus of various Peethadipathis.
On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with his wife Ms Bhuvaneshwari took a dip at Rajahmundry at 6.21 am today and thus launched Pushkaraalu in AP.
Normal Pushkaraalu will be held once in 12 years, whereas ‘Maha Pushkaraalu’ will be celebrated once in 144 years. Due to this reason, these Pushkaraalu is gaining high significance and people are already crowded at all the Pushkar ghats immediately after the launch.
These ‘Maha Pushkaraalu’ will be held for 12 days, i.e., from July 14 to 25. As the days are less, and not only the dual Telugu states people, but also the people are expected to come from all the states, the crowd is expected to be heavy and so the officials have made proper arrangements like surveillance cameras at every corner and so on.
So do not miss this once in lifetime opportunity, as the holy dip is said to clear all the sins we committed in life.
