DS emotional resignation letter to Sonia

Senior Congress leader DS had finally quit the party and had officially said that he is going to join TRS party.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, D Srinivas said that, he wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi about his resignation and has now decided to join the TRS party. Regarding this, DS took part in a meeting with KCR on Wednesday and the latter was found happy to invite the Congress leader into the party.

DS even hinted that, there are few others who are quitting the Congress, along with him and those details will be told soon.

Key points in resignation letter of DS

- There are many instances that I was unhappy with the way Congress party is carrying on its activities. But I still supported for the party's growth.

- I have been one of the key members in wishing a separate state of Telangana. After many people craving for the state for the years, you finally declared it. But as the decision was delayed for so long, the public turned against the party and lost confidence in the Congress party and its leaders in the state.

- Though I was very confident that, I will lose in the elections, I still participated to respect the party’s order. The result, I received did not surprise me as it was expected anyway.

- I wish to work for the Telangana state development and for the welfare of the people. But that is not possible, staying in the Congress party, as people are not in a position to believe the party anymore.

- The credit of achieving Telangana can be owned by KCR, who made an identity with the movement. That is the reason for his victory in the elections. So I wish to join in the TRS party.

- So kindly please accept my resignation and thank you for all the love you showered on me for the years.

Andhrawishesh view:

The Congress party, though tried to cash in the elections for announcing the Telangana state, the efforts are found fruitless, as TRS party completely conquered the state. So at this moment, it is better if the Congress party tries to make any kind of positive influence in the state, before the other party members skip out.
