There was enough of politicising of the yoga day to be celebrated on June 21st. The pseudo secularist made it religious and raised unnecessary controversy on the yoga which is Indian. They made all out effort to ensure that the yoga day is related to Hinduism and whatever related to Hinduism is communal. But to every body’s surprise and a big blow to the pseudo secularists, Deoband Darul Uloom has stated that it is not against yoga and does not see any religious flavor in yoga.
"We consider yoga as a form to physical exercise and accepted it. While offering namaz, we do several physical movements which also fall in the category of yoga. It has nothing to do with religion and so we don't object to it at any level," PRO of Darul Uloom Ashraf Usmani stated.
"Some people have ulterior motives to spread misinformation to malign our image. They have been claiming that we have issued a fatwa against yoga, which is wrong. We never want to reject yoga as a form of exercise," he added.
Darul Uloom Vice-Chancellor Maulana Abul Qasim Nomani said, "There are some people who believe that they are good for Indian democracy by attacking Islamic institutions and its beliefs. They need to know that India is a secular nation where the people of different religion live in peace and harmony. The way they are trying to run the country is inflicting irreparable harm to India. They want to paint the entire nation with the same religious brush."
"I don't want to name any particular person for doing hate campaign against a section of the countrymen. But it is high time for the government of India to pinpoint such forces and take action against them," said Nomani.
Pseudo secularists find communalism in whatever is related to Hinduism. They take all the opportunity to malign and defame Hinduism. The same pseudo secularists do not have any dignity in begging before the vote banks. It is high time that these pseudo secularists are thrown to oblivion for the sake of safety and security of the country. It is a very good sign that the minority segment of the country has started realizing the hallowness of the pseudo secularists.
