Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu demands ‘Bharat Ratna’ to NTR and also proposes to establish NTR in lord Krishna attire as a statue at river Godavari.

On the second day of Mahanadu, Naidu speech went bit emotional, he strongly demanded the centre to announce Bharat Ratna to NTR, as he is the real leader who fought for the welfare of the poor till his last breath.

Naidu further proposed ‘Cheera and Dhothi’ scheme under the name of NTR, which is to be implemented soon. “It was NTR who introduced the food security scheme in 1983 and also brought many reforms in the agriculture.  When there is a famine in Rayalseema, NTR collected the money”, Naidu said.

“NTR never escaped from his responsibilities, he was always with the Telugu people, to look after them. In fact, he was my inspiration and its my luck to work along with him in those days. He is the one, who cared about the BCs, STs and SCs.  NTR redefined the state politics, so it is our responsibility to earn Bharat Ratna for our very own leader NTR.”

“NTR has been always concerned about poor people and struggled for their welfare. He is the one who made the country proud in those days. This is the reason for his statue in Parliament and for continuation of his name for the airport.”

Regarding the ‘Cheera, Dhothi ‘ scheme, Naidu said that, the government is going to spend Rs.400 crores for the project and if everything went well, the implementation of it would be from this Dasara itself. “With this, the poor would get an opportunity to wear new clothes”, Naidu opined.
