The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to drag Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and MIM leader, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi to court over their recent remarks. Telangana CM KCR has praised Hyderabad king Nizam and his rule very recently at a private event while Owaisi made controversial comments saying, “everyone born is a Muslim and it is the parents who convert them to other religions.”
Former MLA, Dharma Rao has slammed KCR and Owaisi but making politically inclined comments. “Only to get benefit in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation [GHMC] Elections, KCR is praising Nizam rule. In the past, he criticised Nizam king and after coming to power, he is hailing Nizam. Hundreds of women were raped, houses looted, set ablaze and people were killed mercilessly. The only aim behind this is crown the GHMC Mayor chair,” said Dharma Rao. Lashing at Owaisi, “We will file a case against the Hyderabad MP. Being a Parliamentarian, such comments should not be entertained,” added the BJP leader.
Earlier BJP MLA Kishan Reddy has threw an open challenge to KCR, asking him to come for an open debate about the Nizam and his rule.
