Indo-Bangladesh land swap Begins says PM Modi

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that Bharatiya Janata Party government has been utilize the land transfer agreement with neighbor country Bangladesh in a manner, which it could be seem to be an immediate loss to Assam. Addressing to Bharatiya Janata Party workers at the Sarusajai Stadium here in Guwahati on Sunday, Modi said he is not going to compromise on security and he know the sentiments of the people. He added we will always protect the interests of Assam and our country.

Narendra Modi is likely to spend around four days on his maiden visit to the northeast states, where he is going to address in the country's top police chiefs, dedicate a train line from Meghalaya to Assam including commission a power project in Tripura. According to sources PM Modi will also inaugurate a festival each in two states Nagaland and Manipur.  In Assam, Modi will flag off the first ever train from Mendipathar in North Garo Hills of Meghalaya to Dudhnoi in Goalpara district of Assam via remote control from Guwahati.
