Its a four way battle in Maharashtra

It is allover now in Maharashtra as two national parties Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] and Indian National Congress [INC] separated away from their allies for the Assembly elections scheduled in October. The BJP and Shiv Sena ended their 25-year-old relationship while the Nationalist Congress Party [NCP] broke ties 15 years after it allied with the Congress.

Ironically all the four parties wants more number of seat share in the election which clearly show they want to crown the top chair of the next government. As the nomination date is also nearing, there is a clear no way to reunite but we can expect new allies post the elections result. BJP might team up with NCP and Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena [MNS] if the assembly election results are in their favor. It would be a tough choice for Congress and Shiv Sena even though he fell short of the magic figure to form government. However, Congress, Shiv Sena ally is mere impossible.

The post election result will change the scenario in Maharashtra politics but who will chair the chief minister post is something going to be very interesting. Conditions look in favor of BJP as it has managed to keep the smaller parties with them and if rumors to be believed regarding their secret alliance with NCP and MNS, BJP is expected to be the next government in the Maratha land.
