Will never forget the gesture of Godavari districts

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his gratitude to the people of East and West Godavari districts in the Assembly for supporting Telugu Desam party. Chandrababu Naidu gave a lengthy speech in Assembly today as he declared the new capital of Andhra Pradesh and later listed the development plans of the government for the next five years. While talking on the capital issue, Chandrababu thanked Godavari district people for electing their party candidates and promised them a never before growth in coming years.

“I will never forget the gesture of Godavari district people as all of our candidates were elected as MLAs and MPs. On this occasion, I would like announce the list of projects TDP government is going to start in Godavari districts. Kakinada and Rajamundry will be made smart cities and the latter will be made a IT hub. With the assistance of central government we would like to establish Petroleum, Horticulture, Telugu Universities along with national institutes like NIT, Institute of Fine Arts and Crafts. Ceramic, Palm Oil industries, Food Parks are also in the government's agenda. Apart from this Godavari districts have abundant aqua culture and government will give special interest for the development of aqua culture. In addition to this, Shipping port at Narasapuram, airport at Thadepalligudem are the two major projects in pipeline,” said Chandrababu.

Overall the government has announced at least one major project and selected one city to make it a smart one from all the thirteen districts. Chandrababu reiterated that his government will develop all the districts equally till the next general elections.
