Jana Sena Party founder Pawan Kalyan met BJP National President Amit Shah yesterday in a star hotel. Both held discussions for about half-an-hour and speaking to the media Pawan said Modi government should be given atleast one year time and then should ask about their results. “The meeting was just a formal one and had no importance. I can't comment anything on Modi government now as it is just two months they took charge. I feel that Modi government should be given one financial year of time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks like a practical man and I saw very few PMs talk in such way. BJP promises are achievable,” said Pawan.
Regarding the Telangana survey, Pawan commented for the first time. “High Court has declared that Survey is an option and moreover I was not in Hyderabad to take part in survey,” added Pawan. When asked about AP and Telangana CMs meeting to sort out differences, Pawan said if the discussions were held prior, by now many issues would have ended with a solution and it is good gesture and hope they will continue.
However Pawan did not give any clarity whether his party, Jana Sena will contest in the Medak by elections or will extend support to BJP candidate.
