A while back, there were reports that former MLA Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy aka Jagga Reddy might join  Bharatiya Janata Party but those rumours did not gain any importance. However, former Medak MP is now contemplating to join the national party. Well, she is TRS expelled leader Vijayashanti.

After the election defeat, Vijayashanti was nowhere seen and she has been maintaining distance from media too. Vijayashanti earlier worked for BJP and sources say that she wants to contest for the Medak Lok Sabha seat and so is looking to join BJP. But few leaders are heard to be against this decision and are seriously opposing Vijayashanti's re-entry into BJP. One of the BJP leader claimed that, it is because Congress was in power, she joined the party and now BJP is power, so wants to come to us. We won't appreciate it.

Vijayashanti and Jagga Reddy are heard to be in touch and are discussing about joining BJP in near future. While the former actress eyes Medak seat, Jagga Reddy is confused if Vijayashanti is preferred for the MP seat.

Vijayashanti remained unavailable to comment on this.
