Less than in 24 hours, Telangana Rashtra Samithi breathed it easy with results of ZPTC and MPTC. In the Municipal results, Congress which showed its strength, gave a tough competition to TRS in ZPTC and MPTC. However with minimal margin, TRS got the upper hand. So far TRS bagged 191 ZPTC and 58 MPP seats while Congress won 177 ZPTC and 31 MPP seats.

In North Telangana, TRS dominated while in South, Congress took the lead. Though Left parties proved their stamina in Khammam in a surprsie, TDP won the Khammam ZPTC seat while TRS had zero presence in this district. TDP won 52 ZPTC seats and 8 MPP seats in Telangana. 59 MPP seats are positioned at hung as no party got majority.

TDP wave in Seemandhra

Like the Municipal elections, TDP continued its wave in the ZPTC and MPTC results too. The Cycle party won 362 ZPTC and 353 MPTC seats while YSRCP bagged 254 ZPTC and 236 MPTC. As expected Congress performance was really poor here. Congress did win only 2 ZPTC seats and had to struggle for them too. 47 MPP seats are in hung as no party got majority votes.
