SC declines to give stay on bifurcation

The Supreme Court has declined to grant interim relief on the appointed date of Andhra Pradesh bifurcation. However, the Supreme asked the Central government to respond to the notice issued within six weeks.

On August 20th the apex court will hear the case again and it will also decide further proceedings of the case. Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar and Rajeev Dhawan arguments against bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh were keenly noticed by the Justice Dattu.

With no stay or any kind of notice, all the hurdles for the Telangana separate state which comes into being from June 2nd got cleared.
