CPM Politburo member BV Raghavulu has criticized Telugu Desam supremo Chandrababu for not being able to announce a Backward class [BC] leader as chief minister for the Seemandhra region. Raghavulu was campaigning in Jangaon constituency of Warangal district and slammed oppositions for their double standard on playing vote bank politics.

“TDP knows that they won't be coming into power in Telangana region and so playing mind games with BC card while Telangana PCC Chief Ponnala has done nothing to Jangaon. Being a minister he is always confined to Hyderabad and I request people to vote for the candidate who will be always available for people,” said Raghuvulu.

He also questioned why the Telangana parties could not manage to get National status to Pranahitha-Chevella irrigation project.
