The Supreme Court has issued stay on the Municipal elections results on Friday and said it would hear all the arguments on Monday. The Apex court has also issued notice to the state Election Commission and asked to reply to the notice as early as possible.

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh gave its judgment about the Municipal results to declare them on April 9th without any further delay. High Court ruled out the influence of these results on the general elections and said voter has all the rights to vote for the right person.

Municipal elections in the state were recently concluded and results are expected on April 9th with High Court directions. However, will Supreme agrees to High Court arguments or will it reverse the decision is something all the political parties in the state are eagerly waiting.
