The Supreme Court of India has slapped the Union government by rejecting its plea to recall its earlier order to set up a Special Investigation Team [SIT] to probe all cases of black money. The three-judge bench headed by Justice H L Dattu said that the Supreme Court intervened in this case as all the governments including the present government failed to bring back the black money which has been lying in the foreign banks for the past six decades.

The Apex court also observed that if the entire black money is brought back, about 30 percent of tax can be reduced on common man and the economy will become more stronger than any other nation in this planet. “This court's top priority is the interest of the nation and common man,” added Supreme.

Also the Supreme accused that the government is protecting the big tycoons and so the process for bringing back the money is getting delayed.
