A social activist has disrupted Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's speech at the inauguration of National Waqf Development Corporation in Delhi. The man is identified as Faheem Baig a doctor who lives in north-east of Delhi. Mr. Baig shouted loudly that the schemes meant for minorities are not being implemented and he claimed to have written over 150 letters to Prime Minister's office (PMO) for information of schemes.

Later the Prime Minister asked Minority Affairs Minister K. Rahman Khan to meet Mr Baig and hear his views and consider his petition. The PMO sources also said they have taken Baig's representation and are looking into it.
