Telugu Desam Party MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan said in a written complaint to DGP Prasad Rao that his life in under threat and claimed Greyhounds IG Seetaramanjaneeyulu would be responsible if anything unexpected happens to him. Both of them had a dispute when Vamsi exposed Seetaramanjaneeyulu's illegal activities while working as Vijayawada commissioner.  Later this event, Seetaramanjaneeyulu was transferred to Greyhounds department.

Vamsi also alleged that being IG of Greyhounds, Seetaramanjaneeyulu is in talks with ex-naxals and has been for his plotting to kill him. DGP has accepted Vamsi's complaint and has ordered for a complete details in this case. DGP also requested Vamsi to give all the information he had and Vamsi demanded for increase in security for him. In addition to this Vamsi asked CM Kiran's appointment but CM Kiran said to Vamsi to wait for three days as he is busy with Assembly sessions.

Meanwhile Greyhounds IG Seetaramanjaneeyulu responded to this allegations and squashed all of them. He did not comment further on this issue and made himself unavailable to the media.
