The AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh says a show cause notice was sent to JC Diwakar Reddy for his remarks on Sonia Gandhi. But JC says that he was not served any notice. The suspense is still going on the issue.
Digvijay Singh said on Thursday that a show cause notice was sent reply to which is awaited. When the media persons asked that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy also going against the party, Digvijay Singh said that Kiran Kumar never talked against the party or high command.
JC Diwakar Reddy commented that Sonia Gandhi should step down so that others will be given an opportunity. Reacting on this comment Digvijay Singh sent a letter to PCC President Botsa Satyanaryana to ask for an explanation from JC. When Botsa referred the matter to the disciplinary action committee they said that JC is a member of AICC so it is returned back.
JC Diwakar Reddy explained that he only opined that Sonia Gandhi should step down on health grounds to allow others to work. He said that he wants to stay in the Congress party but some leaders are against him. He said that it is painful to leave the party after working for three decades with loyalty.
JC says that he has not received any such show cause notice and he doesn’t need anybody’s statement for that as he knows that he has not received.
