BAC of the AP Legislative Council held conference for almost two hours to come to an understanding on fixing of the date to discuss the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013.  But no consensus was arrived at in the meeting.

Then it is decided that the dates fixed by the BAC of the Legislative Assembly will be followed in the Council too.

BAC of the Assembly is also going to take place to discuss on the issue of when the discussion on the Telangana Bill should be taken up.  As other issues pertaining to the State were already on the agenda, the special need for the discussion came up with the receipt of the draft bill sent by the Center for which the President gave a time frame of 42 days to respond after discussing on each and every aspect in the bill.

If the bill cannot be discussed in the winter sessions of the Assembly, special assembly sessions can be scheduled by the BAC.
