Lehar cyclone which classified as the super cyclone is going to landfall at Machilipatnam in the afternoon. The cyclone turned storm at present is centered at 120 km North East to Machilipatnam and 160 km North East to Kakinada.
Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the Coastal Andhra and Telangana regions during 24 hours from now as an impact of the cyclone.
Winds will blow at 45 to 65 km per hour in the next 12 hours. Sea will be rough during that time. All ports are given danger alert No.3.
The Government authorities have taken precautions to save the lives and rescue the victims of the storm.
