Payyavula Keshav a senior leader of Telugu Desam Party filed petition today in the Supreme Court challenging the process of the State bifurcation undertook by the Government of India. He also asked for the explanation on Article 371 d of Indian Constitution.
Telangana TDP leader K Dayakara Reddy said before that, that it is ok if the Seemandhra leaders go to courts complaining about the way the bifurcation is done or if they feel any injustice is done in the process. But, Dayakara Reddy says, if they try to obstruct the bifurcation process it will certainly be stopped. He said that a disciplinary action should be taken on them by the party high command. He opined that a party leader should not act against the party’s policy calling it personal and he reminded that it is observed by them in the Telangana movement.
TDP stand is that the party is not against the bifurcation but only objection is that the Seemandhra people’s interests are not considered and a great injustice is being done to them by not hearing to their protests that has been going on continuously for the last almost 3 months.
As the policy of the TDP is not against the State bifurcation, the petition by Payyavula is objected by the Telangana TDP leader Dayakara Reddy.
