AP Governor ESL Narasimhan reached Delhi on Tuesday evening. It is known from the reliable sources that the Governor will stay there for a few days during which time he will meet all bigwigs in addition to the members of GoM separately.
As there is a strong accusation that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has been supporting the Samaikyandhra movement and is busily engaged in chalking out a plan to float his own party, the Governor’s tour at this time is giving scope for more speculations. But, the AICC Chief Secretary Digvijay Singh commented yesterday that Kiran Kumar Reddy is loyal to the Congress party and will do such things as fears are expressed by the party members.
The Governor will meet AICC President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday after he returns from his foreign trip and in the meanwhile he will meet the AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi some time.
As the Center seems keen on bifurcating the State at a fast pace possible, the stay of the Governor for a few days at Delhi meeting all the heads in high places assumes importance and interesting to follow.
