APNGO President Ashok Babu says that the Center cannot go ahead now with their original plan of bifurcation of the state.
While talking at Kadapa, Ashok Babu said that the time has come to the Center to go for second thoughts on the announced decision of bifurcation of the State.
He demanded that the elected leaders should explain how they are going to stop the process of the Bill but simply sticking to the positions without resigning will not do any good.
As some of the MPs, MLAs and Ministers have been telling that their resignations will weaken the chances of opposing the bill in the Parliament and Assembly, Ashok Babu questions how they are going to do it and what is the plan of action for it.
He said that the strike is going on only because of the cooperation from the people and expressed his willingness to intensify it further if the situation demands. He said people of the 13 districts are facing a lot of hardships due to bands. But, he said, the people of the Semandhra should fight with the same enthusiasm for the purpose of keeping the State united.
