While awarding death sentence on 13th September to the accused of the gang rape on 16th December in New Delhi, for their brutal action and causing death to a medical student in a running bus, the Additional Sessions Judge of the trial court Yogesh Khanna referred it to Delhi High Court for confirmation.  
Delhi High Court issued production warrants to Tihar Jail Authorities today to produce the death convicts before the bench.   The convicts Mukhesh, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma will have to be produced before the bench tomorrow.  
As the trial court gave them 30 days’ time to appeal in the High Court, the High Court wanted to know whether they want to go ahead with the appeal or not as suggested by the Special Public Prosecutor Dayan Krishnan.
