The State Election Commissioner Navin Mittal said that the arrangements were over for the second phase of the Panchayat elections to be conducted tomorrow.

In the second phase Elections are to be conducted in 6971 Panchayats.  1910 CC Cameras are fixed in the polling stations for remote observation and for recorded evidence in case of any untoward incident takes place.

Counting, as it was done in the first phase, will be done on the same day and by evening the results will be announced.  In order ensure fast completion of the counting, Navin Mittal said that more than one counting center will be arranged to complete earlier.
