When the TRS MLA K. Taraka Rama Rao, T JAC Chairman Prof.Kodandaram and BJP leader Nagam Janardan Reddy staged Dharna at Vidyut Soudha in Hyderabad, they were arrested by the police.

When the employees of the Vidyut Soudha protested the arrested in the office, they too were arrested.

KTR became furious about the police action and said the issue will be taken up in the Assembly and a complaint will be given to the Speaker on Monday as it is a violation of the privileges of a Member of the Assembly.  

KTR said that he only went to Vidyut Soudha to meet the CMD of AP Transco after talking to him over phone and the police showed over enthusiasm to arrest them which will be raised as an issue of rights of a leader, a people’s elected representative and a Member of the Assembly.
