No Permission For Chalo Assembly

The Hyderabad Police Commissioner refused to give permission for the Chalo Assembly program announced by Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodanda Ram.

Reacting sharply to the Police Commissioner’s refusal for Chalo Assembly program in which lakhs of people are called to join to go to Assembly.  JAC wants to bring pressure on the Assembly to get the Telangana Bill passed at the Center by making a resolution in the Assembly.

As the program itself is indicating a possible violence with so many protesters going into the Assembly police are reluctant in giving permission to it.

TRS leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy announced the total support of TRS to JAC’s Challo Assembly program. He said that the Telangana agitators cannot be scared with bind over cases and arrests.  He warns the Government that an attempt of suppression will only increase its intensity.  He advised the Police Commissioner to think again about the rejection of permission for Chalo Assembly.

Prof. Kodandaram told media today that Chalo Assembly on 14th June will be made successful at all costs.  He said that the Government is trying to suppress the agitation with binding over cases.  But, he said that no one is afraid of those things.  He also said in the media meet that Janareddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy should bring pressure on the Center for taking a decision on the formation of separate Telangana State.
