The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's announcements of Government Schemes before the approval of the budget is objected by Telugu Desam Party senior leader and MLA K.E.Prabhakar. He said that it is unconventional to introduce the schemes through the budget proposal and through the Governor's opening speech in the joint session.
In the press conference conducted by him at Kurnool, K.E.Prabhakar said that the introduction of fancy and popular schemes are not only violating the conventional following but also objected by his own Cabinet Ministers calling it a unilateral decision.
Yesterday Anam Rama Narayana the State Finance Minister announced that the popular 'Amma Hastam' will be passed in the Assembly.
The MLA's contention is that the budget is not yet approved and the cost of the schemes announced will bear on the budget. How can CM take it for granted that the schemes will be approved in the budget before a discussion takes place on it?
