YS Jagan spent one year in Chanchalguda jail facing the charges from CBI of money laundering and accumulation of disproportionate assets, cheating and conspiracy with his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy when he was Chief Minister of the State to do some favors to some companies for which in turn to get quid pro quo in the shape of investments in the companies floated by him. He was arrested on 27th May 2012.
During the time Jagan made a number of bail petitions but all of them were turned down by the Supreme Court. But as the reports come from the visitors to the Jail, Jagan became tough and focused. He utilized all the time to plan an action for the party to take. In the meanwhile his mother YS Vijayamma and sister Sharmila were holding the port waiting for Jagan to take the control.
Already five charge sheets are filed by CBI and three more are going to be filed by the investigating agency in due course. Many leaders and MLAs from TDP and Congress party met Jagan at Chanchalguda jail and declared their solidarity. Many are in the opinion that the young leader has something special about him to keep up the will power and determination to achieve something politically. CBI charge sheets and repeated rejections of bail petitions did not make him feel low to get week on mental stature. His guts are getting strong day by day to prove himself heavy on his political opponents.
