Andhra Pradesh police vigilant with Maoist attacks

With the recent attack launched by the Maoists on the border of the neighboring Chhattisgarh and Odisha on the Congress leaders, Andhra Pradesh police in the borders with the aforementioned states have been on high alert.

Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy confirmed that the police force was on alert in Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) area.

Quashing all allegations that the Maoists who belonged to AP were involved he talked to the media when he clarified that he had no information regarding the Maoists hailing from AP involved in the attack. The Saturday bushwack resulted in over 30 deaths.

Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Chief Minister, on the other hand, has condemed the brutal mass murder of the Congress leaders condemning it as an attack on democracy itself. He also conveyed condolences to the families of the deceased.
