AICC in charge of AP affairs, Gulam Nabi Azad has met the party supremo Sonia Gandhi this morning. This discussion gained prominence in the wake of TRS chief KCR inviting Congress MP s to join TRS besides the corruption charges that some Andhra ministers are facing. It is known that Congress earlier said an appropriate decision would be taken against Sabitha Indra Reddy, the home minister, as she become accused number four in Jaganmohan Reddy's illegal assets case.
So, it's most likely that Congress high command is either going to ask Sabitha Indra Reddy to step down from the post or change her ministry. On the other hand, it might even pass a whip on all Telangana MP s not to meet KCR. But if MP s come to conclusion that they will join hands with TRS, then even suspending them from party would make no big deal to the MP s. But then that suspension can at least enable Congress to maintain its pride. So, what decision high command is going to take has become an interesting question now.
