The Adhikar Rally organized by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pulled crowds to join the rally and to listen to his speech at Ramlila Maidan at Delhi.
The Rally as per Nitish Kumar was to mark their demand for a special status to the State of Bihar. He said that a similar rally was organized at Patna on November 4th and at that time it was declared that it would be repeated at Delhi if their voice did not reach Delhi and today’s rally is to complete it.
It is in the air that Nitish Kumar, leader of Janata Dal (United) party planned the rally as a show case for his strength of power to Delhi the way Bharatiya Janata Party organized for elevating Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
But the leaders of the party denied it saying that it is wrong to think that the purpose of the rally is to contest the BJP led program or to pressurize the Government. It is only to mark our demand for a special status to our State.
