Chiranjeevi condoles death of Anji Reddy

Central minister Chiranjeevi has condoled the death of Reddy Labs' founder Anji Reddy. Today, along with his wife, Chiranjeevi had a final glimpse of Anji Reddy and offered flowers to him. Minutes before that, CPM legislator Julakanti Rangareddy has paid tributes to Anji Reddy. It may be recalled that Anji Reddy passed away on Friday due to liver cancer. In fact, he was admitted to hospital a few days back.

Anji Reddy played a pivotal role in making Hyderabad a pharma capital by establishing Dr. Reddy's Laboratories with a capital of just Rs. 24 lakh in 1984. The company's current worth is Rs. 30,000 crore. Born into a farmers' family, Anji Reddy was a focused and meritorious student right from his childhood. He did his B. Sc in technology with specialization in pharmaceutical science from Bombay University. He later did Ph.D and got doctorate in pharmacy from National Chemical Laboratory. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is the second largest pharmaceutical company in India. His untimely death is definitely a loss to the pharmaceutical industry. Andhra Wishesh pays tributes to his visionary.
