In the wake of Maha Siva Rathri (a festival dedicated to Lord Shiva), tight security arrangements are being made in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It is known that intelligence sources reportedly hinted at the possible terror strikes in the city on the eve of Siva Ratri and therefore strict vigil is already in place. Thousands of CCTV cameras were installed at various locations and several cops were picketing at all busy areas in the city.
The city commissioner Anurag Sharma has said that strict checkings were going on to ensure that no untoward incident takes place tomorrow. Meanwhile, nearly four special check posts were set up between Secunderabad and Alwal areas. Police are checking the bags of almost all the people and public were also supporting the police.
This vigil, which was intensified a couple of days ago, has brought to light so much of black money and gold without valid proofs. All in all, it's a good sign that city has now completely come under the control of the police forces.
