K Chiranjeevi, the Union Tourism Minister has been rewarded a fair share of the budget in the recent allocation of Union Budget 2013 announced by P Chidambaram allowing himself ample scope for the development of tourism in India.
His next target is Sushil Kumar Shinde, the Home Minister. His request to the home minister was to extend the Visa on Arrival system to several other countries and draw tourists to the nation while promoting Incredible India.
The proposal has been on his mind since he was into the position because he wanted to draw foreign tourists to Indian tourist destinations while promoting them as film tourism destinations. In his defence, the industries are both closely linked with each other.
Rumour has it that Shinde is positively considering the proposal since Chiru has made the request himself directly.
