Hyderabad twin blasts have alerted the entire country. Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha today held a high level meeting with police officials to ensure that tight security is in place. She has also asked the police to see to it that special measures are being taken at bustling streets across the state. Further, she told the high level officers to alert officials in the state.

It is a good thing to note that Tamil Nadu government is taking special steps to ensuring no untoward incidents take place. However, we the public should also make sure that we don't move in the rush areas at least for a couple of days when such incidents hit headlines, said observers.

It may be noted that 16 persons were killed and scores injured when two bomb blasts took place in Dilsukhnagar area of Hyderabad last night. This incident has not only sent shockwaves among people but kept AP Government and Centre under criticism from both the public and opposition parties.
