The Telangana Congress leaders met at party MP at Manda Jaganatham's residence on Friday (January 25) and have equivocally urged for a T state. Looks like they have also sent a letter to the Congress led UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi demanding their urge. Speaking to media the host MP said that the esteem feeling about the Congress in public would be eroded if T was not announced even now.
In the letter they demanded the same issue while briefing the post developments if the Congress failed, this time on the issue. They had sent a strong feeling that there would be no compromise on T formation and without that there would be mass exodus in the party. Earlier the meeting was attended by MPs Vivek, Gutta Sukhender, Ponnam Prabhakar and former MP P Kesava Rao.
In the meantime the Telangana Teachers Association met at the Indira Park and urged the centre to comply with the January 28 announcement. As assured the central party must give a green signal to the T formation. It also reminded the Congress government about how life came to a standstill during the 40+ days of Sakala Janula Samme. By not granting the state, a similar situation would be inevitable.
The whole state looks electrifying with the politicians on both sides trying their best to fuel the controversy. An imminent solution in this regards looks a distant dream for the common man, claim critics. (Wishesh AarKay)
