The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is busy trying to strengthen the party from one side with his personal visits for Indiramma Bata. On the other hand, he is facing ire from all top leaders and public due to his erratic power tariff hikes. Now the latest challenge posed by an MLA from his home district, turns as a thorn in his bed which is of course not filled with roses.
The Punganur Congress MLA, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has openly criticized Kiran of trying to mar the prospects of the party, with frequent power tariff hike, since April 2012. He also said that the Co-operatives elections would show how much the hikes have affected the people. He added that with this speed Kiran could also ruin the prospects of Congress in 2014 General Elections.
The MLA threw a challenge to the CM that this Co-op elections he would support candidates, who are not nominated by the CM and work for their victory to prove his point. He was confident that his supporters would win nearly 40 single window seats and also claim the DCCB Chairmanship.
How will the CM react to this? Will he or will he not? What will be his explanation if such a situation arises. (Wishesh AarKay)
