Central minister Chiranjeevi has today addressed a public meeting in Nellore wherein a large number of people have attended. Addressing the gathering, Chiranjeevi said Nellore was his mother land. Stressing on the importance of tourism, he said many countries bank on tourism sector for development.

Ever since Chiranjeevi become the central minister, he has been touring the state and foreign countries widely. So far he had been to UK and some country on official tour. The observers said that making Chiranjeevi as the minister of state for tourism with independent charge, the government improved it's chances of telling the world the cultural heritage of the country.

Chiranjeevi is a known person across the globe as a prolific actor in India. He becoming the minister and that too for tourism itself is a big benefit to both film and tourism industries. It's perhaps the first time in the world wherein a minister himself has become the brand ambassador of the department he's given the charge.  Anyway, it's a matter of pride for all our Telugus too that Chiranjeevi is the central minister. Let us wish that tourism sector in the country witnesses new annals of development under the able leadership of Chiranjeevi.
