MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi has left for Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad to undergo the medical tests on the directions of Nirmal police. Since Akbaruddin claimed that he was not keeping well these days and sought time for appearing before them in connection with a hate speech case, the police wanted to ensure that he was not really unwell. Over the same, they issued summons on Akbaruddin this morning directing him for attending the medical tests.

It may be recalled that Akbaruddin Owaisi yesterday moved the court and sought quashing of cases filed against him. The court is yet to pronounce its judgment over the same. Therefore, the police are reportedly trying their best for ensuring that Akbaruddin attends preliminary interrogation. On the other hand, Akbaruddin's brother Asaduddin Owaisi earlier said Government was trying to create disturbances in Hyderabad.
