Tirumala news: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Srivari temple

Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam would be conducted tomorrow at Srivari Temple in Tirumala. Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam is a process of cleaning sanctum sanctorum and other utensils used in puja. This seva would be performed on every Tuesdays before some auspicious ceremony.  It is known that Vaikunta Ekadasi (the holy day) is round the corner and in the wake of the same, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam would be conducted tomorrow.

Starting from 6 am to 11 am, the temple priests would clean sanctum sanctorum. Therefore, devotees would not be permitted to have glimpse of the deity till 11 am. Also, Astadala Pada Padmaradhanamu (a seva conducted on deity in the early hours) would be suspended due to Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.
