Central minister Chiranjeevi has said that he didn't enter into the politics for his own benefit but for the welfare of the people. He has taken part in the Congress meeting at LB Stadium of Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi had all praises for AICC supremo Sonia Gandhi. He has appealed to the people of the state not to fall in the trap of the opposition parties.
Speaking about merging of PRP with Congress, Chiranjeevi said he merged his party with Congress upon invitation from Sonia Gandhi and it was purely unconditional. Clearing the doubts about merger, Chiranjeevi said his entry into politics was to do something good to the people. Since it was possible with Congress, he merged PRP with Congress.
Speaking about future of Congress party, Chiranjeevi exuded confidence that Congress party would win 2014 assembly elections. Also, he asked people not to hail individual leaders but to strive towards taking Congress party ahead. As Chiranjeevi gave speech, there was pin drop silence in LB Stadium. Scores of people present over there listened to Chiranjeevi's speech carefully. It looks like Chiranjeevi's speech could have impact on forth coming elections.
