BJP state president Kishan Reddy has lashed out at the Centre over the all party meeting. He has said that arranging for the meeting was just a clever move by the UPA in order to get the votes of MP s from Telangana region during FDI voting in the parliament the other day. Also, he said it was unfortunate that Manmohan Sarkar was not working towards solving Telangana turmoil.
Further, Kishan Reddy has demanded that in case Centre has determination on Telangana issue, it should first call AICC president Sonia Gandhi to the all party meet and take her opinion on Telangana issue. To make a point, Kishan Reddy said, if all party meeting is conducted for name sake, it would not yield any benefit but in turn Congress might have to face the wrath of the public.
Notably, TDP already found fault with the Centre over all party meeting and stressed that Congress was trying to damage TDP. Now, BJP is also raising fingers at UPA over timing of the all party meeting. One has to wait and watch as to what decision Centre would take after all party meeting-whether carving out state or keeping it in tact or buying further time? Fingers crossed!
