Minister Sridhar Babu has exuded confidence that a historical decision would be taken on Telangana at the all party meeting that would be convened at Delhi on December 28 to discuss Telangana issue.  He has urged the Centre that only one person should be called for the all party meeting from each political party. It has to be mentioned here that Congress MP s from Telangana region have demanded an all party meeting in the wake of FDI  voting two days ago. The centre came down and fixed December 28 for all party meeting.

Notably, Centre after declaring Telangana state in 2009 kept the decision on hold stating that the further process would take place only after consensus amongst political parties. Regarding the same, the Centre earlier convened an all party meeting wherein CPM, CPI, MIM and TRS gave their stand on Telangana issue. Congress, TDP, YSRC are apparently required to give their stand on the issue at the all party meeting.
