Take action against YSRC leaders: VH

Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao has expressed his anguish against the government for not taking action against YSRC leaders who publicly said that they would break the walls of Chanchalguda Jail to set their supremo Jaganmohan Reddy free. Hanumantha Rao demanded the police director general to take action against YSRC leaders swiftly.

Also, he said in case government doesn't react to these statements, then results may be severe. He has even found fault with chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for not trying to protect minister Dharmana Prasad Rao from the prosecution of Central Bureau of Investigation. Now that V Hanumantha Rao too took on chief minister, observers said that even VH might have written a complaint against Kiran Kumar to Congress high command.

It may be recalled that Jagan is prime accused in illegal assets case. He was arrested and prosecuted by the CBI. He's currently under judicial remand at Chanchalguda jail. Speaking on this case, CBI director recently said CBI had never tackled such a case, which had multiple dimensions. He has also stressed that Jagan case was unprecedented.
