The meeting of former chief minister Marri Chenna Reddy's son Marri Sasidhar Reddy and Sonia Gandhi in the national capital territory is giving raise to many speculations among political circles. They were of the opinion that the Congress High Command has been apparently working on replacing chief minister and PCC chief in the state. While D Srinivas' name was under consideration for chief minister post, the observers said that Marri Chenna Reddy might get PCC chief post.

Nonetheless, a few analysts said that there's no big news in Marri Sasidhar Reddy meeting Sonia Gandhi as the former is the vice chairman of National Disaster Management Authority. They said since Andhra has been reeling under problems due to floods, Sonia Gandhi might have asked Sasidhar Reddy to look into the issue and do the needful.

However, analysts are arguing that there would be a change in top leadership within a week. So, lets wait and watch if these speculations turn into real or remain as rumours.
