The former Nalgonda TDP MLA and the strong man for the party in the district, Sankineni Venkateswara Rao was suspended by the party, today at Hyderabad. He was speculated to have acted against the party discipline by visiting the incarcerated YSRCP leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Chanchaguda Prison on Monday.
There was much hue in the media circles when the leader went to meet the Kadapa MP and was escorted by the Bhuma Reddy couple. As the couple also deserted the TDP early to join the YSRCP. Similar speculations about the Nalgonda MLA was also on the rife.
However the TDP drew curtains down, to the mounting speculations, with the suspension. No sooner the news of the meet spread like wild fire, TDP took action against the MLA on citing 'anti party activities.' Some more leaders are also to take a dive in their loyalties say sources and most importantly the name of the Bhongir MLA, Uma Madhava Reddy’s son, Sandeep Reddy is in the reckoning.
