TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's Vastunna Meekosam padayatra, which he kick started on Gandhi Jayanthi from Hindupur of Anantapur district, has entered its fifth day today. Mr. Babu today started his yatra from Turakalapatnam of Anantapur district. As a part of his padayatra programme, Chandrababu Naidu enquired the problems of students and farmers.  Later, he had a look at the farm lands in the village. Also, he held the plough along with the farmers.  It has to be mentioned here that Chandrababu Naidu's padayatra has evoked good response.

Earlier, late YS Rajashekara Reddy also took out a padayatra. And it was his padayatra, which brought Congress back to power in AP after a long period and eventually TDP lost its seat. Will Chandrababu's padayatra in AP too will make Babu the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh? Though it's a million dollar question, many political observers felt that had Babu not lost his seat, AP would have become Swarnandhra Pradesh by now. Remember his vision 20-20 and the way he wanted to turn the outlook of Hyderabad and also the remaining parts of the state? Now that Congress too has grim chances to come back to power in 2014, sources said that Chandrababu Naidu is most likely to become the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. If at all Congress doesn't want to lose its seat in the state, the observers stressed that Chiranjeevi should be made the chief minister candidate.
