Due to a technical snag between the Nampally and Secuderabad Stations there shall be MMTS trains till noon today say the railway sources. The break in the communication lines occurred at the Hussain Sagar junction where T activists struck havoc was the reason for the decision. Due to this many train services were disrupted, last night and many more had difficulty in reaching in the early hours of the day. Restoration work is being taken up on a war footing and sources say that by afternoon most lines will be restored.
The otherwise event less Sundays were filled with with loud slogans of “Jai Telangana,” as students, teachers, government employees and activists of various peoples’ organisations proceeded towards Necklace Road, the venue of the Telangana march, in large numbers braving the heavy police cordon right from morning. Though political parties had issued appeal to the people to maintain utmost restraint in spite of preventive detention of dozens of leaders, the situation turned out differently.
The Student JAC has called for a bandh today and also sent a message to the Ministers of the reason to resign immediately warning them of worst repercussions if failed. They also hinted over, the action on Seemandhra commercial establishments. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
