The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy faced a road block today with the Lokayuktha finding fault at the style in which his administration was functioning. The issue that surfaced was due to the delay in the implementation of the welfare schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Swagruha and Indiramma House sites. The apex body felt that the files were inordinately delayed and the implementation was affected due to this. The body also asked the concerned to submit a detailed report on reasons of the delay.
The incident occurred after a woman filed a complaint challenging the delay in the implementation of the welfare schemes in the Khammam district. The issue exposes how the welfare schemes proposed by the CM are not well adequately supported by the ground staff.
The Lokayuktha people's court also questioned the CMO, as to how could the welfare scheme files be delayed and kept under wraps. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
